About the Job Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales and Business Development Executive to join our fast-growing eCommerce advertising company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and a passion for driving growth for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and creating innovative advertising solutions that help DTC brands thrive in the digital space.

As part of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our client base, increasing revenue, and establishing long-term partnerships within the eCommerce and advertising industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential DTC brands that can benefit from our eCommerce advertising services. Proactively reach out to leads through cold calling, emails, and networking events.
  • Sales Pipeline: Own the entire sales process from prospecting to closing. Manage a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.
  • Client Consultations & Presentation: Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective clients to understand their advertising needs, challenges, and objectives. Present tailored eCommerce advertising solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at DTC brands, establishing trust and credibility. Act as the primary point of contact for all client communications throughout the sales cycle.
  • Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in eCommerce and digital advertising to position our services effectively and spot new growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and account management teams to develop targeted sales strategies and ensure smooth execution of client campaigns.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Regularly update CRM systems with sales activities, opportunities, and client feedback. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Negotiations & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, prepare proposals, and close contracts in alignment with company goals and client needs.
Required Skills:
 
  • Education/ Experience: Graduate/ Masters Degree in Business management, Business Operations (experience in Business development is desirable).
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of successfully driving sales and business development in a fast-paced environment. Experience in B2B sales, ideally in Media-marketing, eCommerce, or advertising is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to craft compelling pitches and presentations that resonate with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach to sales.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solver: Ability to analyze client needs and present solutions in a way that aligns with their business goals and objectives.
  • Ad-Tech & Tools Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), marketing automation tools, and an understanding of digital advertising platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and social media, Programmatic etc.
  • Result-Oriented: Driven by achieving goals and exceeding sales targets. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-driven environment.and creative assets.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and learning from others to drive success.
  • Time-Management: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
